The door was operating a little noisier than usual, but it was over twenty years old and had never been serviced before. Jorge arrived right on time, he was very professional & courteous. It only took him a couple of minutes to discover the problem with my door, a broken hinge between a the door panels. He inspected the entire door assembly and brought to my attention that the end cap bearings were worn out on one side and nearly shot on the other side. He showed me the worn parts and gave me an estimate of the parts & labor to replace. The damaged bearings also damaged the pipe holding the spring. After 20+ years of use it needed some repairs. Jorge had all the repairs done very quickly, approximately 2 hours and my door was working better than new, much quieter. I would recommend Garage Door Medics, on time, with all parts and tools to do and finish the job in one visit. Took all the damaged parts with him, I didn't have to deal with them on trash day. Expert work at a reasonable price.”

I called at 2PM and was told my appt was for the next day; yet I had had two phone calls with/from Garage Door Enterprises on 10-19-10 confirming that the appt was for 10-20-10. Once past that frustration, the company quickly found someone who could come to my house within the 1/2 hour. Shawn was very pleasant, performed a full examination of my door, listened to my concerns about the operation of the garage door and suggested various corrections & assoc. costs. The cost of the correction I selected was covered by the price of the service call. Shawn also gave me the name of the lubricant he used and the cheapest way to buy some of my own. I am very satisfied with the repair and will call them again when I need garage door service "

brettnelson from Kudzu: "Twice i have had the pleasure of letting garage door enterprises service my garage. Once was a door replacement 2 years ago. I chose garage door enterprises because they've been in business for close to 20 years. I wanted someone that was going to be there for me if and when i needed help. My door arrived and after the installer had some questions and issues with the clearance for the door and the "mess" in my garage, i
got to speak with the owner of the company himself who without me asking decided he could come by and look at these issues. He was at my house for 15 minutes. He told me that we could solve the issues and that my door would be in by the end of the day. It was, and it was not a "normal" or "easy" job. He stuck to the quote and i couldn't be happier with my new sectional door. The second time i have dealt with garage door enterprises, my opener didn't reverse just as my 3 year old daughter went running under the door. Luckily, i was able to grab her arm and drag her out just as the door was 10" from closing to the ground. Obviously this scared me so i called and asked for an inspection. GDE came out and told me that the old opener i had was unreliable and suggested i get a newer model with the "electric eyes" that automatically reverse the door if someone crosses its path. These work so well, i cant believe i waited all this time to upgrade. Professional service, honest business practices and they have a lifetime customer. "

_satisfied from Kudzu: " Definitely outstanding service, correct a motor problem within a few minutes based on technicians outstanding expertise. Went beyond the call of duty also by re-lubricated rails, ensuring alignment of garage door, WD40'd wheel based area's. Cleaned sensor lights, and ensure all remotes worked great, and even setup a difficult off the wall remote garage door keypad.

I had another company come up a day earlier, and wanted to charge easily $1,000 more for all kinds of replacements.

GDE only charged me $99.00 for maintenance. They're great. Highly recommend them to family, friends, neighbors, & work mates.

Awesome Service all round.

They have responded promptly and expertly with our requests for periodic preventive maintenance tune-ups.
On an out of warranty need for repair, they responded promptly, and had it up and running, with a minimum charge.
The people on the phone, as well as the technicians who show up to do the work, are all efficient, polite, pleasant, competent, and represent the company in a superb manner. They are reasonable and worth every penny in spades!!
I recommend them without reservation to friends, family, and anyone else in need of a new garage door, or repair of an old system.
